KoloToure believes that Liverpool can save their season by winning the Europa League. Liverpool will be facing Dortmund in the next round.

With Jurgen Klopp side currently 7 points off the qualifying places for next year Champions League, the best way to enter the competition will be by winning the Europa League. This will also provide a first trophy for the German manager.

KoloToure believes that his team has what it takes to win the competition and that it will just require that they stay focus and united in their performance. The Ivory Coast defender has featured in 17 matches for Liverpool season and has scored one goal.

In the last round, Liverpool has eliminated their Premier League rival Manchester United by winning 3-1 on aggregate. Their next opposition will be Jurgen Klopp’s former team, Borussia Dortmund. Although Dortmund appears to be the favorite team to win the competition especially with the way they beat Tottenham Hotspurs in the previous round, fans will pray that Klopp will know how to beat his previous team.

With his contract due to expire in the summer, KoloToure will be keen to help Liverpool win a major trophy before leaving. KoloToure was a 25th-minute substitute in the League Cup final match against Manchester City. Liverpool lost the game on penalties after having drawn the game 1-1 in normal time.
