Kolo Toure, an Arsenal hero has lauded Bukayo Saka who is in form for his performance this season. The retired Ivorian defender believes that the England international player can be a part of the iconic Invincibles team, which had two the unbeaten Premier League in 2004.

Toure in an interview had been asked to choose a player from the present Arsenal team who can fit into the team of 2004. The Ivorians have helped the Gunners win the coveted Golden Premier League trophy. He replied with the name Saka. Toure believes that the boy has special talent, passion, and desire. So, he has everything that is needed. He says that he has been impressed by what he is doing in the game and for him, as a football fan, who has been associated with the game for a long time, watching the game, when the game is easy is very boring.

Praising Saka for what he can do with the ball, he said that when he watches a game and it is tight and sees one player willing to take the ball in time of pressure and makes a difference- that is what they love. However, the moment is special since it is the first time, he is facing all these. But everything happens for the first time. In case that time is now, Arsenal can benefit from it. For sure.

Saka has put on some important performances for the North London outfit in the season. This England player has scored 13 goals. He also assisted 11 foals in the 31 stats for Arsenal this season in the Premier League. Toure makes a fascinating claim over the responsibility of Saka and this is when Michael Jordan made his money.

Kolo Toure has recently lost his managerial position with Wigan athletic after the team failed to win any of the nine matches they played. The team remains at the bottom of the Championship leaderboard.

Kolo retired as a former Manchester City and Arsenal defender. He was then appointed as the boss of the Latics team late in November. However, after his appointment, he has not been able to guide the side to victories. Chelsea has an agreement with Norwegian side Molde for signing Datro Fofana, the teenage striker of Ivory Coast. The center-forward options have taken a hit last week following the ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament of Armando Broja. So, he might have to miss out on the last season. Chelsea looks to set a complete signing of the striker from Molde in an £8.6million deal before the transfer window of January. The Blue had been exploring many striker options following the injury of Broja.

Joao Felix, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Youssoufa Moukoko had come up as prospective targets. However, it appears Todd Boehly will rather choose Fofana. The teenager has scored 15 goals and 5 assists for the Norwegian side until now.

The 25-year-old has made 13 appearances across the board this season, scoring one goal with three assists, and has all the attributes to play under Guardiola. The Premier League have confirmed Liverpool’s squad list for the 2022/23 season following the closure of the summer transfer window. The Reds had a busy summer with the arrivals of Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho, Calvin Ramsay and the deadline day loan signing of Arthur Melo. The squad contains 16 non home-grown players, with each team side allowed no more than 17.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson, Joe Gomez, Caoimhin Kelleher, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Nat Phillips make up Liverpool ‘s home-grown quota. Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita have both, as expected, been named in the squad – despite missing out on a place in the Champions League squad for the first-half of the season. New signing Nunez has been named in the 25, while Carvalho and Ramsay have been counted as under-21 players. Harvey Elliott has also been named in the additional list of under-21 players. Newcastle United could be securing a possible bargain transfer amid rumours that they are keen to add Burnley winger Maxwel Cornet to their ranks this summer. The 25-year-old was relegated with Burnley last season and now teams, including the likes of Newcastle, could sign the winger on a cut-price deal of £18 million. Despite that relegation, Cornet is a player who impressed a lot of people during his debut campaign in England, including former centre-back and current Leicester City coach, Kolo Toure.

Towards the back end of last season, Toure told Sky Sports Football that it was a ‘big surprise’ to him when Cornet ended up at Turf Moor in the first place. But he still felt that his fellow countryman had been ‘unbelievable’ after scoring nine goals in 26 Premier League games for a relegated side. KoloToure had a hugely successful international career with Ivory Coast. He scored seven times in 120 appearances for his country over a 15-year period. KoloToureplayed for the Ivory Coast senior team from 2000 to 2015. Three of his seven goals came against Guinea, Gabon and Asian team Japan.

Former Leicester City, Liverpool and Celtic defender Touremade his Ivory Coast debut against Rwanda in April 2000. He played five times for his country as they finished second at the 2006 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Egypt. The Ivorians lost out to Egypt in the final and they had to settle for second spot. Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards was part of the Sky Sports crew on the final day of the latest Premier League campaign alongside Manchester United legend Roy Keane, presenter Dave Jones, Ex-Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp and many more. Richards and other City fans went through different emotions as they were made to work for the Premier League title by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard and his Aston Villa players. Incidentally, Richards played for the two teams involved at the Etihad Stadium, but his allegiance was clearly with Manchester City who had to win to secure a fourth league title in five years and a second straight league title.

Manchester City came into the final day of the season with a one-point lead over Liverpool and needed to win against Villa irrespective of whatever happens in the Liverpool game. The Reds were at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers. City threatened to throw the title away as they trailed 2-0 at the start of the final third of the second half. Matty Cash and Philippe Coutinho had scored either side of the half for Villa. The Citizens eventually rallied to score three goals in five minutes to emerge victorious. KoloToure has been fascinated by what two of his former teams namely Liverpool and Manchester City have done in the Premier League over the past few seasons as he described them as unbelievable. The Leicester City coach talked about the two teams in a chat with the Manchester City website as he previewed the latest Premier League clash between the two teams last month.

Arsenal legend Kolo Toure believes West Ham United star Declan Rice is “unbelievable” defensively, amid comparisons to the former Ivory Coast international’s brother, Yaya Toure. Yaya – who had a hugely successful eight years with Manchester City, winning three Premier League titles in the process – is known as one of the greatest midfielders of his generation.

Rice has drawn comparisons to the now 38-year-old, and Yaya has even offered to meet with the England international to help improve his game even further. When asked whether Rice can be as effective as the former in an interview with The Times, Yaya said of course, he has the time for it, the knowledge.
