KOLO SET FOR ANOTHER MOVE

Manchester City defender Kolo Toure could be set for a move to another league after it was revealed that PSG manager Carlo Ancelotti is showing a lot of interest in the 31-year-old defender, according to the Arsenal news website.

The Ivorian was one of the first major signings Manchester City managed to make a few seasons ago. However, due to the established pairing of Vincent Kompany and Joleon Lescott performing so excellently, Kolo Toure has only got limited action in the first team in recent times. This combined with the six-month ban from playing football as a result of testing positive for a drug meant that his Manchester City career looked almost but over.

He has now become the transfer target for big spending PSG, who were extremely interested in signing AC Milan defender Thiago Silva. AC Milan recently revealed that PSG offered as much as £ 40 million for the defender, which would have become a world record move.

Kolo Toure is already on big wages at Manchester City, but he could be offered even more in order to come to PSG, who are looking to win the French league title and the Champions League next season. PSG have also been linked to Luis Suarez. Due to the fact that they have failed to get Thiago Silva this season, they will be looking to make Kolo Toure one of their first major signings before the likes of Kaka and Carlos Tevez arrive.

It is also thought that Premier league club player also registered an interest in the player, but Manchester City are willing to let in the Ivorian international leave the club only to a foreign league. French club PSG are expected to be one of the contenders for the Champions League in the upcoming seasons. They have been spending a lot of money when it comes to bringing in players, but they could only finish in the second position in the league last season.
