Toure Expects Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Succeed

Liverpool icon Kolo Toure claims that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be a major hit at Arsenal. The former Arsenal winger made the switch to Anfield for around £ 35 million, and he has signed a long-term contract with the club.

Liverpool have been trying to get Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for a number of months now. After having finally got their man for a reasonable sum of money, manager Jurgen Klopp is expected to profit from the presence of the England international in the 2017-18 campaign. Kolo Toure, who was with the club as recently as a season ago, claims that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has the ability to become a major success for the club.

Kolo Toure Reveals His Biggest Regret at Liverpool

Kolo Toure has spoken about his biggest regret since leaving Liverpool, and he says that not being able to win the Premier League title with the Reds will forever remain with him as a major regret.

The former Ivory Coast international was signed by Brendan Rodgers when he was the manager at Anfield. He came on as a free signing from Manchester City, but Toure was looking at the possibility of winning the Premier League title with three different teams – a feat never before achieved in the top division of English football since the introduction of the Premier League in 1992.

KoloToure makes history in Scotland as a substitute

When KoloToure joined Celtic on July of 2016, the veteran footballer was a regular starter as he actually played an influential role in the Scottish outfit.

Unfortunately for Toure, his impact in Celtic diminished rapidly as he started to be dropped to the sidelines on a regular basis.

Starting from October 23 of 2016 until May 21 of 2017, Celtic played 17 domestic league matches and counting from that timeline, KoloToure could only manage to make 4 appearances with all of those arriving from the sidelines as a substitute player.
This is evidence of just how unimportant that the experienced defender has been in Celtic since he arrived almost 1 year ago.

Celtic Boss Eyes Four Fresh Signings Ahead Of Next Season

Scottish champions Celtic will look to bank on the success of a domestic treble in order to further strengthen the squad in the summer.

The Hoops benefited with their cautious transfer business last summer as they recruited the likes of Moussa Dembele, Scott Sinclair and Kolo Toure to their ranks.
While Dembele and Sinclair were regulars in the attack front, Kolo, a Premier League legend during his time at Arsenal, provided adequate backup at the heart of the defence.

KOLO TOURE SET TO MAKE HISTORY

KoloToure is set to make history with Celtic at the end of the season.

The former Ivory Coast international was part of the GunnersInvincibles’ team that remained unbeaten all through the 2003/04Premier League season. They were the eventual winners and they did it in style.

KoloToure is optimistic despite being a substitute player

At the age of 35, almost every football player out there is thinking about hanging up their playing boots but KoloToure is a completely different story as the Ivorian defender recently spoke about his current situation in the Scottish outfit Celtic FC.

KoloToure joined Celtic FC back on July of 2016 but he has struggled trying to snatch a spot in the first team and become a first-team player.

Kolo Toure Could Make a Good Coach, Says Brendan Rodgers

Kolo Toure is on the verge of becoming a champion in Scotland after his Celtic team are close to sealing the league title even with several games remaining.

The former Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal defender moved to Scotland in order to be reunited with his former boss Brendan Rodgers. It has been a welcome change for the Ivory Coast star. Even though he may no longer be the first team regular,Toure’s presence in the squad has been extremely important. He has started only five league matches, as Rodgers has preferred players like Erik Sviatchenko.

Kolo Toure Ready for a Recall against Mönchengladbach, Confirms Rodgers

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers insists that the defender Kolo Toure will be ready for first team action when he is called up for the Champions League game against Borussia Monchengladbach.

The defender was highly self-critical of himself after making significant errors in the reverse fixture at Celtic Park. However, Rodgers, who has worked with Toure at Liverpool, says that the former Ivory Coast international remains a consummate professional who will be available when called upon. He fully expects Toure to return to the starting line-up for the upcoming visit to Germany.

KoloToure has made an instant impact at Celtic FC

At the end of the 2015-16 season, KoloToure made his way out of Liverpool and on July 24 of 2016 it was confirmed that the Ivorian defender joined Celtic FC as he reunited with his former boss Brendan Rodgers as both of them had actually worked together in Liverpool as they attempted to snatch the Premier League title but never managed to actually accomplish that objective.

Now that both of them have recently accepted to join Celtic FC, they are hoping to win the domestic title with the Scottish club and even though KoloToure has only joined Celtic FC around 4 months ago and despite being 35 years old, the Ivorian defender is a regular starter which is fairly surprising and impressive considering the fact that he is the oldest player in the entire squad but it hasn’t been an obstacle in his quest of adding more titles to his collection and extend his playing career further even at his fairly elevated age.

Brendan Rodgers sees Celtic not Favored for any League

Brendan Rodgers reckons there is a reason the people running the league system in England are not in favour of having Celtic in any division as they know the Celts would turn out to be a serious challenger for all the teams.

Rodgers is sure the Manchester City draw that his team achieved did not happen by a fluke or anything and if given chances, his boys in green and white can pull off similar figures against some of other big teams from England as well.
